Hi Everyone,

I’m Nayanta, the Nay in creNAYtive. I’m a Craftpreneur with a 9-5 in healthcare administration, located in New York City. I was born and raised in Harlem but am now living the homeowner life in the North Bronx. Our 3rd bedroom was supposed to be our guest room but guess what? It’s my small, messy and beloved craft room (I do have a small daybed in here in case we actually have a guest).

I was always creative but my craft journey started in 2021 when a close friend gifted me my very first Cricut. I went to YouTube University and taught myself how to use it and the rest was history!

I don’t technically have a niche, but I am mostly a paper crafter. I make custom party favors, from treat boxes to custom candy. I love being a small part of someone’s big day and I pride myself on making party favors that will wow any guest.

Not only am I a crafter, I am a wife to an amazing man who supports my craft obsession, a boy mom to a teenager, an auntie to too many to count, and a bookworm (I started a book club 10 years ago that doubles as my therapy!).

Fun facts about me:

I’m a notoriously picky eater that gets on everyone’s nerves when it’s time to try a new restaurant

I’ve been the same height since middle school (fun sized at 5’1)

I was born on the cusp, at night, so I finally admit that I am a Cancer/Leo, which means I am a moody, sensitive, natural born leader
